چکیده

Cancer is one of the leading causes death in our age. In addition to treatments used cancer, plants are frequently complementary or alternative approaches. Plants genus Satureja world wide for various purposes, primarily as therapies. For this purpose, study, antioxidant potential and phenolic content cuneifolia plant, which consumed a spice tea among public, its cytotoxic apoptosis-inducing effects on cancer cells were tried be revealed. The effect extracts prepared with three different solvents (methanol, ethanol water) was determined by MTT test colorectal (DLD1) promyelocytic leukaemia cell lines (HL60). Then expression levels five apoptotic gene regions (apaf-1, bax, bcl2, card4, casp3 tp53) evaluated Real-Time PCR. via DPPH test, HPLC screen substances. As result, it that have variable but positive pro-apoptotic expressions. When evaluated, methanolic extract had more radical scavenging (IC50: 105.02±0.034 µg/ml). conclusion, potentials obtained from S. plant revealed first time upon DLD1 HL60 study. This study pioneer future studies therapy. Keywords: Apoptosis; qRT-PCR; Spice; Turkey; Wild savory

Phenolic Extracts from Wild Olive Leaves and Their Potential as Edible Oils Antioxidants

The kinetics solid-liquid extraction of phenolics from wild olive leaves was elaborated using different mathematical models (Peleg, second order, Elovich, and power law model). As solvents, methanol, ethanol, ethanol:water 1:1, n-propanol, isopropanol and ethyl acetate were used. The second order model best described the solvent extraction process, followed by the Elovich model. The most effect...
